What Tagwell does with your information

Tagwell is an offline archive for purchases. You type in item names, prices, dates, serial numbers and notes, and you attach photos and files. All of it is stored locally on your device, in the app's own storage and in the app's local settings (UserDefaults). It is never sent anywhere.

No network access

The app contains no network code. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no servers and no advertising. The developer receives nothing from your device and cannot see your items, receipts or files.

Photos, files and notifications

• Photos: you choose pictures with the system photo picker. Tagwell receives only the pictures you select and keeps a copy inside the app.
• Files: documents you choose with the system file picker are copied into the app's local storage.
• Reminders: warranty and service reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone as notifications. They are created and delivered on the device, and you can switch them off in iOS Settings at any time.

Backups and sharing are your choice

"Export backup" and "Share dossier" open the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing leaves the app unless you pick a destination yourself, and after that the destination you chose handles the file.

Deleting your data

Inside the app, "Erase everything" in Overview removes all items, files and rooms. Deleting Tagwell from your iPhone removes all of its stored data as well.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes how it handles information, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
